ASBrowse IoT License Activation Instructions

After you have purchased a license for an ASBrowse IoT driver and have obtained your order confirmation email with License ID and Password, there are multiple license activation options.

Method 1. The PC that ASBrowse IoT is running on is currently connected to the Internet

*Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

Follow these steps:

  1. Start the ASBrowse IoT License Manager application

  2. Select the driver that you wish to activate from the list

  3. Click the [Activate Online] button to open the Online Activation Wizard.

    • Select Activation Method tab: Choose 'Option 1. Online Using Web Service.' Click the [Next] button.

    • Purchase Confirmation tab: Follow Wizard instuctions, click [Next] button.

    • Enter Credentials Tab: Enter License ID and Password from order confirmation email. Click [Next] button.

    • Activate tab: Click the [Activate] button to perform the online activation.

  4. If the activation completed successfully, the dialog will show 'Success, your development license has been activated'.

  5. If the activation was unsuccessful, the dialog will show 'An Error Has Occurred' followed by the error description and error code. Contact Automated Solutions Technical Support at 707-578-5882 (option 2) or support@automatedsolutions.com

  3. Click the [License Online] button to open the Online Activation Wizard.

    • Select Activation Method tab: Choose 'Option 3. Online Using Web browser on another PC.', click [Next] button.

    • Purchase Confirmation tab: Follow Wizard instuctions, click [Next]button.

    • Enter Credentials Tab: Enter License ID and Password from order confirmation email. Click [Next] button.

    • Activate tab: Click the [Activate] button to perform the online activation.

  4. If the activation completed successfully, the dialog will show 'Success, your development license has been activated'.

Follow these steps:

  1. Start the ASBrowse IoT License Manager application

  2. Select the driver that you wish to activate from the list

  3. Click the [License Manually] button. The 'Manual Licensing Dialog' will appear

  4. Record User Code 1 and User Code 2

  5. Email the two user codes, License ID, and Password to support@automatedsolutions.com

  6. Automated Solutions will send a reply with your Registration Code

  7. Enter Registration Code into the 'Manual Licensing Dialog'

  8. Click the [OK] button

  9. The 'Manual Licensing Dialog' will close and the License Manager List should be updated to reflect the new license status

Telephone license activation is not supported due to length of codes.
