For Allen-Bradley OPC Server:
Start the OPC Server application.
From the OPC Server menu, choose License> License Drivers...
Select the driver that you wish to activate from the list.
Click the [License Online] button to open the 'Online License Activation' dialog.
From the 'Online License Activation' dialog:
From the 'Unlock via Internet' dialog:
NOTE: If your network has a proxy server that prevents using web
services, click the Proxy button and enter the proxy server's address and
port.
Example: proxy.domain.com:80
If the activation completed successfully, the driver status will change to 'Licensed'.
If the activation was unsuccessful, an error dialog will appear and show 'An Error Has
Occurred' followed by the error description and error code.

Record 'User Code 1' and 'User Code 2' from the 'License Manually' dialog.
Open a browser on any Internet connected device.
Browse to the Manual Activation website
Enter License ID and Password from order confirmation email.
Click the [Submit] button.
Enter 'User Code 1' and 'User Code 2' recorded in step 5.
Click the [Submit] button.
Record Registration Code 1 from web page.
Return to the OPC Server 'License Manually' dialog.
Enter Registration Code 1 recorded in step 12 in 'License Manually' dialog 'Reg Code 1' field.
Click the [Ok] button.
If the activation completed successfully, the driver status will change to 'Licensed'.
If the activation was unsuccessful, an error dialog will appear and show 'An Error Has
Occurred' followed by the error description and error code.

Enter License ID and Password from order confirmation email.

Enter 'User Code 1' and 'User Code 2' recorded in step 5.
Click the [Submit] button.
Record Registration Code 1 from web page.
Return to the OPC Server 'License Manually' dialog.
Enter Registration Code 1 recorded in step 12 in 'License Manually' dialog 'Reg Code 1' field.
Click the [Ok] button.
If the activation completed successfully, the dialog will show 'Action completed succesfully!'.
